My new favourite thing: Nita at creche. She obviously adores children.
What I learned this week: a quarter to half a million people die of normal seasonal flu every year. Less than 300 people died of bird flu.

News story of the week: Flu a la couchon. I can hear my colleagues talking about it in the kitchen, about how hard and long a process it is to test for it.
