Harper and I have been visiting grandparents in Christchurch, where the full force of spring has sprung. The garden city is indeed a great big garden. Dad, Harper and I wandered around the botanic gardens and watched duck families - some with as many as 18 chicks - waddle around the place, while bank tellers and personal assistants had lunch amongst the huge carpets of daffodils. It was too glorious.
I also stocked up on wool from Mum's stash and got yarn for some patterns Dairne gave me a few weeks ago. And on that note, welcome to her daughter Aoife - born 10/9/08 - who is just delicious. H and I can't wait to see you.
